Without getting too into it, I want to explain something about Bruce.
If you hadn't caught on by now, Bruce is deaf, so he communicates in ASL (American Sign Language). ASL is a fully developed language, complete with inflection, nuance, and grammar, just like any spoken language. Thus, I've decided to represent this by giving him his own speech balloons. I just want to point out that he does not actually speak, hence the different way his speech balloons are drawn.
